A great day out
This Beautiful Marina, known as Saville town wharf was originally built in the nineteenth century as a busy transport hub for the textile industry in Dewsbury. Years later it had become a scrapyard for boats that were no longer seaworthy. Left unused and derelict it had become an eyesore for the locals and was left long forgotten. Our family took over the site in 1982 with the vision of the beauty that lay beyond. Fast forward to now and we are an award-winning pub serving fresh seasonal food utilising local produce to bring delicious plates and hand-pulled ales to you.
From our family to yours. Enjoy.
Our chefs have brought passion and flavour to Leggers Inn, with over 50 years kitchen experience between them. Famous for our pies and now ready to wow you with everything else. From traditional Yorkshire food to some international twists. Seasonal menus bursting with flavour, and something for the little ones too.
"We absolutely love meeting your dogs, and we love being a dog-friendly pub!
Please if you do bring your furry friend to meet us they must...
Be kept on a lead at all times.
Be ok around other dogs and not reactive to others. (We understand some initial excitement and a lot of fuss but if your dog is aggressive sometimes to other dogs or people or will react loudly to other people coming and going it’s unfair on other people sharing the space)
We also ask that you pick up after your dog and where possible don’t let them urinate in the outside dining area but on the grass areas out front and at the side.
Other than that we can’t wait to meet your best friends and shower them with pets & treats (with the owner's permission of course)
